Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TLink Defender application and related services ("Services") provided by Tenlink LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Registration

To use TLink Defender, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

2. Subscription Plans and Pricing

TLink Defender offers a free tier and paid subscription plans:

All paid plans include a 3-day free trial. Prices are in USD and may vary by region based on App Store pricing.

3. Billing and Auto-Renewal

⚠️ Important: Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Payment is processed through Apple's App Store. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. The renewal charge is the same as the current subscription price unless we notify you of a price change. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.

4. Free Trial

All paid plans include a 3-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the plan price. Free trial eligibility is determined by Apple and is typically available only once per Apple ID per subscription group.

5. Refunds

Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. You can request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly for App Store purchases.

6. Description of Services

Web Protection: Blocks access to known malicious websites using regularly updated blocklists delivered through Safari Content Blocker extensions. This feature works within Safari and does not affect other browsers or apps.

Ad Blocker: Blocks advertisements and trackers in Safari using content blocking rules. This feature works within Safari only.

Call Protection: Identifies and blocks known spam phone numbers using data sourced from public complaint databases. Call blocking is performed by Apple's CallKit framework on your device.

Identity Protection: Monitors email addresses you provide against known data breach databases. Alerts you if your information appears in a new breach.

7. Limitations of Service

TLink Defender provides security tools to help protect your devices and personal information. No security product can guarantee 100% protection against all threats. We do not guarantee that our Services will detect or prevent all malware, phishing attempts, spam calls, or data breaches.

On iOS, TLink Defender operates within the permissions and limitations defined by Apple's iOS platform. Web protection functions through Safari Content Blocker extensions and does not scan files, apps, or system processes. Call protection depends on Apple's CallKit framework and requires user activation in iOS Settings.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Services; use the Services for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts; interfere with or disrupt the Services; or resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Services without our written permission.

9. Intellectual Property

TLink Defender, including its design, code, content, and branding, is owned by Tenlink LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services on the number of devices permitted by your plan.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the app (Settings → Subscription → Delete Account). Account deletion is permanent and results in:

⚠️ Important: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your Apple App Store subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions before or after deleting your account to avoid being charged for future billing periods.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tenlink LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Services.

Our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
